Robin Olds (b. July 14, 1922, Honolulu, Hawaii-d. June 14, 2007), U.S. Air Force officer, graduated from West Point, received his commission and completed flight training in 1943. During World War II, he flew 107 combat missions, and during the Vietnam War in 1966 he completed 152 combat missions. William Carroll Garland (1916-2004) was born in Barnesville, Georgia, and attended local schools and Gordon Military Junior College before entering the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York.
